Kay, I really want to set up some info on my 'company' it's called Hounddogg studios, so far it consists of my written work such as scripts for an animated movie and tv series as well as stories that were originally movie ideas.

But anyway I saw 'Build your own wiki' and thought it'd be a nice to use. But I'm still not sure...

think I should go for making a wiki page or what?

Don't bother making a page on Wikipedia. Even if it's not, it will likely be seen as advertising or promotion, and is likely to be speedily deleted in a couple of minutes. Also Wikipedia strongly discourages editing of articles if you have a conflict of interest, since you said it was your company this is usually frowned upon. Also, you usually have to prove that your company is notable, and this means providing third party sources for your company.

However, creating your own wiki is a great idea, and should help your company.

No, sorry. You can't use Wikipedia to host your band website. You can't start an article for your band because it would come out as conflict of interest. Many companies and people got into trouble for it. So your argument is that you're not a business entity, but at the end of the day, you're trying to sell your band. You can't even use your User page to advertise your band, though you probably could mention you're a member. But that's it.

You can, or you can make a blog spot or a web page. Good luck on that.
