Why can't I edit a wikipedia page?

I'm trying to edit a page about a tv show character but I can't... does anyone know why? And how can I edit this page? It has a lock next to where you normally can edit and it says you can view it (but I don't see the word edit).

What are the requirements to edit locked pages? And why would it be locked?

click the bar that announces edit this web page. some pages are constrained from unregistered shoppers or maybe those who are not admins because of vandilism. if a lock image shows and also you flow over it and it says this web page is semi secure, it means that purely registered shoppers can edit it. even if that is completely secure, no-one yet admins can edit. also, once you've Google internet accelerator, or the different accelerator, it bans you from utilising that even as enhancing. maximum suited click the google internet accelerator icon and click give up google internet accelerator. also, if you're unregistered, it thinks you're ip tackle is one man or woman so if brothers, acquaintances, or roommates utilising an identical connection and they vandilise it is going on you. i might want to sign up first, if not already registered. if none of those innovations, or any people's innovations, use the help web page on wikipedia
