I just tested it and I don't get that. I'm using office 2003 Pro. Maybe try it again.

just put your mouse over it and there should be a small clipboard sign bottom right hand corner. click on it and click the option 'keep text only'. the box will dissapear and leave the plain infomation as it is. good luck;.

in the 'style' box (usually next to the font box), scroll down to 'normal'. that should get rid of the blue background.

When you want to paste go up to the "Edit" menu, and choose "Paste Special". When the message box pops up, choose "Unformatted Text". This will allow you to keep you text but, get rid of any unwanted formatting.

Instead of copying, using Internet Explorer save the page as .mht
