Hi there. Some of my most favorite Wikipedia articles have been about asteroids and comets, as well as Rivers in Romania. Here's a list of my favorite Wikipedia articles, and why they are my favorites:

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50000_Quaoar - Doesn't that picture remind you of an egg?

2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube - The longest river in Europe, and a very important river in Romania.

3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romania - The actual article about Romania. It is one of my most favorite articles on all of Wikipedia. They've done a very nice job with the article.

Hope this helps :D

Some of the most interesting articles can be found through the "Unusual articles" page [1]

I think my personal favourite is Schmidt Sting Pain Index [2]

Another great one (which is also a featured article) is "Exploding whale" [3]

My favorite Wikipedia articles are:

MyWikiBiz:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MyWikiBiz

(since it is about an enterprise I founded)

Jonathan Zittrain:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Zittrain

(because I was a guest speaker for one of his Harvard Law School classes, and he devoted a page of his book to discuss my experiences with Wikipedia)

Hogtie bondage:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogtie_bondage

(never fails to make me chuckle about how un-self-aware Wikipedia is)

Contribution "poem":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Wit-o-pedia

(amazing that an editor can create a string of "prose" by selectively editing articles -- have you ever seen this before?!)

Essjay controversy:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essjay_controversy

(one of the great screw-ups of all time)

Now, those are just my favorites. If you are maybe also looking for the world's most frequently accessed Wikipedia articles, there is a list for them, too:

Those I wrote. ;) But to be honest: There's no "favorite" article for me. I believe browsing Wikipedia is best! :) But take care of it's content!

I liked the one that talked about me, but it was removed because I'm "either not famous enough or fictional".
