do you use wikipedia from information even though some say it is an unreliable source?

in canada one of our universities disallowed students from using wikipedia as an information resource

Although some stuff does happen, as far as I can see, people who edit Wikipedia, quickly find and remove any vandalism or totally irrelevant or outrageously inaccurate information.



I still use it though, and as long as its strong user base stays true to the spirit of the whole concept, and I've also learned some really interesting stuff off the website.

Some of ours have too here in the States as well as many secondary schools. We can use it as a resource to find other documented material, but not as a resource itself. If your paper even refers to Wiki they will give you a zero and make you redo it at my school.



At the secondary school where my partner teaches they are talking about just blocking it on all the school computers.

I use it only when I need to. Wikipedia is getting unreliable but Some still use it

relying on wikipedia is not good,but gathering informations using it,it could be a help,you can consider this as your last source,,

The schools here in Phoenix, AZ dissapprove of it too saying anyone can just post whatever they want on it.
